Marriott Bonvoy just announced details about their upcoming global promotion. Marriott’s Spring 2025 promotion will offer members 1,000 bonus points and double elite nights for each paid night at a Marriott hotel between February 11 and April 28, 2025.
Bonvoy members need to register on the Marriott website or from the Marriott mobile app, under the “Promotion” tab. Registration ends on April 14, 2025.
Note that only paid hotel bookings are eligible for this promotion.
Marriott’s Spring 2025 promotion details
1,000 bonus Bonvoy points for each night
Generally, Marriott Bonvoy members earn points on their hotel stays at the following rates:
- 5 Bonvoy points per US dollar spent at Element, Residence Inn, and TownePlace Suites properties
- 10 Bonvoy points per US dollar spent at all other hotel brands
With this promotion, you’ll earn an extra 1,000 Bonvoy points per paid night at any Marriott hotel. Plus, there is no limit to the number of bonus points you can earn during the promotional period.
Also, use your Marriott Bonvoy™ American Express® Card or the Marriott Bonvoy™ Business American Express® Card to earn 5 Bonvoy points per dollar spent on your upcoming Marriott stays.
If you don’t already have the Marriott Bonvoy Amex card, consider signing up via Great Canadian Rebates to earn a $75 cash back bonus!
Double Elite Nights
On top of earning bonus points during this promotion, you’ll also earn double Elite nights for each paid night! This could certainly help you reach the next Marriott Bonvoy status level.
For those curious, I’ve indicated how many nights you need to stay under this double nights promotion to keep your status.
- Silver Elite = 5 nights (instead of 10 nights)
- Gold Elite = 13 nights (instead of 25 nights)
- Platinum Elite= 25 nights (instead of 50 nights)
- Titanium Elite = 38 nights (instead of 75 nights)
Note that only paid nights are eligible for this promotion. Cash + points rates, Bonvoy points & Free night award redemptions are excluded from this promo.
Overall, this promotion makes it easier for most Marriott members to earn Elite nights to keep their current elite status or upgrade to a higher status.
As a reminder, Marriott Elite status is valid in the year in which it’s earned and an additional 14 months after that year. So, your 2025 Marriott Elite status is valid until February 28, 2027.
Terms & conditions
According to the Marriott website, stays must include a paid night to be eligible for this promotion. Plus, only one room at one property per night is counted towards the promotion.
Only stays made after registration will qualify toward the promotion.
Also, points and elite nights will post 10 business days after checkout, providing all promotion terms were met.
All hotels globally are participating, with the exception of stays at BVLGARI, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Marriott Executive Apartments®, and owner-occupied weeks at Marriott Vacation Club®, Grand Residences by Marriott®, Marriott Grand Residence Club, Sheraton Vacation Club, Westin Vacation Club, The Ritz-Carlton Club, The St. Regis Residence Club, and The Luxury Collection Residence Club.

This promotion could certainly help Bonvoy members earn valuable Elite nights to keep their Marriott Elite status.
